Riks Attends Eric Twiname Championships - Rutland 10th & 11th May 2008 |

| We were pleased to accept an invitation to exhibit the latest youth & junior windsurfing equipment at the recent Eric Twiname Championships held at Rutland Sailing Club. |

| This is a very big event with approximately 350 competitors taking to the water which really is a sight to be seen! Saturday was very warm and basically still so no racing but lots of fun was had by all in the sunshine with the vast array of activities laid on...then after a few sore heads on Saturday night (parents that is!) Sunday was down to business as the light wind soon got accelerated by the Rutland NE thermal effect! |

| It was great to see such a large contingent of talented individuals on the water, among them around 75 windsurfers which really is an excellent showing, all participating in three back to back races...that was quite some time to be on the water without a break. |

| Anyway, a big thank you to Andy, James & Greg at Purple Marine (the Chandlery at Rutland) for the invite and for making us welcome, and of course to the team at Rutland SC who always are very hospitable (how many barrels did you get through?!?). Thanks also to all of those competitors and their parents who came to have a look at the latest Techno One Design Board and the new rig...be sure to get in touch for any racing equipment requirements and we'll be happy to help. |
