| Riks Channel Island Customers - Top The 2006 Speed Rankings |

| This article was just sent into us from the guys and gals on Guernsey. Speed has really shown a resurgence of interest all over the place of late and this, the second largest Channel Island, is no exception. |

| One of our long standing loyal customers, Stuart Martel, made it to the top of the rankings in 2006. He managed a top speed of 31.6kts set at Lady's Bay back in April 2006 using a JP Super X 106 '06 & NP V6 7.0m sail. |

| Guernsey can produce some fairly rough conditions so beating 30kts in less than ideal water is very good. Runners up were Dan Harradine and Stuart Briggs, also both Riks customers. |

| Also a resident of Guernsey is Martyn Ogier, a name that many will be aware of for various speed exploits through the 90's. Martyn's top speed, set elsewhere back in 1995, is 42.09kts, so that's some target to beat. |
